E-Keralam Digital Hub is a flagship initiative implemented by Kerala State Rutronix to establish a network of Digital Seva Kendras across Kerala. The initiative supports the Government's vision of building a digitally empowered society by providing accessible government services, promoting digital literacy, encouraging entrepreneurship and enabling technology-driven socio-economic development.
Through E-Keralam Digital Hubs, citizens, students, entrepreneurs, women, senior citizens and businesses can access government digital services, business support, digital learning, AI & STEM programmes, career guidance and technology solutions from a single location.
This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, processed, stored and protected whenever you visit our website, visit an E-Keralam Digital Hub, submit documents, participate in programmes or use any service offered through our Digital Seva Kendras.

04 Government Digital Services
Many services offered through E-Keralam Digital Hubs involve processing applications on behalf of Government departments and statutory authorities.
When you apply for a Government service through a Digital Seva Kendra, we collect only the information necessary to process your request, verify eligibility, submit applications, schedule appointments, generate acknowledgements and communicate service updates.
Your information may be securely shared with the relevant Government department solely for processing the requested service and in accordance with applicable laws and Government procedures.
05 In-person hub visits
When you visit a physical E-Keralam Hub, front-desk staff may record your name, contact number and reason for visit for scheduling and service-quality purposes. Some hubs use CCTV for premises security; footage is retained only for a limited period and is not linked to your service records unless required for an investigation.
07 Data security
We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved, including access controls limiting staff visibility to only the data needed for their role, encrypted storage for sensitive identifiers, and regular review of hub-level data handling practices. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to report any suspected data exposure to us immediately using the contact details below.
08 Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the service you requested, meet legal or reporting obligations, or resolve disputes. Course completion records may be retained longer to support certificate verification. Once information is no longer needed, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Depending on the service you've used, you may:

11 Children's privacy
Some hub programmes are designed for students under 18, delivered with school or guardian involvement. Where a participant is a minor, we collect only the information necessary for the programme and require guardian or institutional consent as applicable. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children outside the context of a supervised educational programme.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve or as required by law. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users through the LMS or hub notice boards. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
